Fellowship Groups
Seniors
This group meets every 3rd Friday from September to May. The fact that our 55+ has been functioning continuously for over 25 years will tell you that our people value and enjoy our meetings. Members take turns hosting the meetings which begin with a potluck meal at 6 p.m. In the winter meetings are held at Noon to accomodate seniors who prefer not to drive after dark. Rides can be arranged. There are devotions and the free-will offering is usually donated to the Landscaping Memorial Fund. Seniors enjoy socializing during and after the meal, and sometimes there is a program or entertainment. In March, a health screening is done by the county public health office.
Educational Opportunities
Ecumenical Questions of Faith classes are being offered to members and the general public. Check out the "Christian Education" link for details on the Questions of Faith Series.
Service Team
This team has been established with the vision "to encourage members of the congregation to express their faith and use their gifts through service to others." The leader of this team is currently updating the Ways to Serve list and encourages anyone who would like to join this ministry or if you have a service project idea to contact Mary Ojala at 285-9026.
Holy Communion Visits
Holy Communion is taken to the homebound by trained Lay Eucharistic Ministers. If you are homebound and would like to receive Holy Communion, please call the office.
Taped videos and cassettes of each week's worship service are available and delivered to homes of shut-ins each week.
If you know of someone who has a video player and would like to view the service, you are welcome to take the video to them. Please call the church office for more information.
